From September 2–4, 2025, the 2025 Yarn Expo China International Trade Fair for Yarn and Fibers (Autumn/Winter Edition) will be held grandly at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), alongside Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics (Autumn/Winter), CHIC (China International Clothing & Accessories Fair – Autumn), and PH Value (Knitting Industry Expo – Autumn/Winter).

Currently, China's textile industry is entering a critical phase of qualitative transformation, reshaping its value system and developmental advantages with technology, fashion, sustainability, and health as new benchmarks. As an innovation-intensive and high-value upstream segment of the supply chain, the fiber and yarn industry plays a pivotal role in advancing the modernization of the textile industrial system, serving as the core hub driving value transformation across the entire textile chain.

From September 2–4, the 2025 Yarn Expo (Autumn/Winter) will take place in Hall 8.2 of the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), co-located with Intertextile, CHIC, and PH Value. Together, these events will explore future transformation and upgrading paths while mapping out the ecological development of the industry. The expo will feature eight professional zones, including creative fancy yarns, luxurious cashmere, premium wool, eco-friendly linen, functional fibers, trendy cotton, lustrous silk, and international yarns, all meticulously organized to showcase the latest trends and future directions of the textile industry at its source.

The Functional Fibers Zone will not only include four thematic sections—"Tongkun · China Fiber Trends 2025/2026," "Green & Sustainable Zone," "Health & Functional Zone," and "Industrial Alliance Zone"—but will also debut a brand-new "Bio-based Fibers Section." Over 200 fiber manufacturers will join forces to present a spectacular showcase, highlighting the resilience and vitality of China's synthetic fiber industry. In this zone, a single fiber can carry the green mission of carbon footprint traceability or integrate smart functionalities like temperature control and sensing, making it the "epicenter" driving technological innovation in the textile industry.
