Recycled nylon, also known as nylon recycling, is generally produced by melting and granulating nylon yarn, nylon wire or nylon cloth. The impurities of nylon recycled materials produced by nylon yarn, nylon silk or nylon cloth are relatively low; the impurities of nylon recycled materials granulated by block materials and product crushing materials are relatively high, with some exceptions. The nylon yarn or nylon yarn is bundled clean, and the nylon returned material can be close to the color and material property of the new nylon material. Properties of recycled nylon:
1. Good mechanical toughness, high strength, high compressive and tensile strength.
2. High softening and heat resistance.
3. Nylon recycled material has good electrical properties. Good electrical insulation, high volume resistance of nylon, impact resistance. In dry environment, insulation materials can be made, even in high humidity environment, it still has good electrical insulation.
4. The fatigue resistance is outstanding, the parts can still maintain the original mechanical strength after many times of twists and turns.
5. It has good corrosion resistance, very alkali resistant, also resistant to engine oil, weak acid, gasoline, etc., but not resistant to strong acid and oxidant.
6. Light weight, easy to dye and shape.
7. It has smooth surface, small friction coefficient and wear resistance.
8. It is self extinguishing, odorless, nontoxic, weather resistant, lazy to biological erosion, and has good antibacterial and mildew resistance.
It is widely used in gears, bearings, fan blades, pump blades, bicycle parts, auto industry parts, fishing gear and some precision engineering products.
