The production process involves several key steps:

1. Collection & Sorting: Used PET bottles are collected, and caps and labels are removed. The bottles are then sorted by color.

2. Cleaning & Crushing: The sorted bottles are thoroughly washed, sterilized, and crushed into small flakes.

3. Processing: These flakes are melted down and purified.

4. Re-polymerization (for chip method): The melted plastic is reformed into chips of Recycled PET (rPET). This is a crucial step for ensuring consistent quality and spinnability.

5. Spinning: The rPET chips are melted and extruded through a spinneret to form new filaments. These filaments are drawn, textured, and wound onto bobbins to create the final Recycled Polyester Yarn.
