How is Recycled Polyester Yarn Produced?

The transformation from a plastic bottle to a premium textile yarn is a sophisticated process:

1. Collection & Sorting: Used PET bottles are collected, cleaned, and sorted by color (clear, blue, green).

2. Crushing and Washing: The bottles are crushed into small flakes and thoroughly washed to remove any labels, residue, or impurities.

3. Melting and Purification: The clean flakes are melted down and passed through a fine filtration system to create pure, recycled PET pellets.

4. Spinning into Yarn: These recycled pellets are melted again and extruded through a spinneret to form new filaments. These filaments are spun into Recycled POY, Recycled FDY, or texturized into Recycled DTY yarn, depending on the desired end-use.
