1.2D High-Quality Antibacterial Anti-Bacterial PP/PE Bicomponent Es Polyester Staple Fiber
Description:
ES fiber is produced by composite spinning technology with sheath-core structure, sheath is PE, and core is PET or PP. During heat processing, sheath components are melted and adhered to stick fiber together, but core will be there to keep good resilience and shaping.
It's used for nonwoven fabric, applied to medical (facial mask), hygiene products (baby diaper, women sanitary napkins, filter industry, etc.
The production process involves several key steps:
Polymerization: PTA and MEG are reacted to form molten polyester (PET).
Spinning: The molten polymer is forced through a spinneret (a device with tiny holes) to form continuous filaments.
Drawing: The filaments are stretched, aligning the polymer molecules to increase strength and tenacity.
Crimping: The continuous filaments are crimped (given a wavy texture) to add volume and help the fibers stick together during spinning.
Cutting: The continuous tow (a large bundle of filaments) is cut into short, predetermined lengths—this is what creates the "staple" fiber.
Baling: The cut staple fiber is compressed into large bales for easy shipping to textile mills.
Technical Advantages:
✔ Superior Spinning Performance - Excellent processability in both pure polyester and blended yarn production
✔ Consistent Quality - Tight denier control with CV% < 3.5
✔ Enhanced Dyeability - Uniform dye uptake for vibrant coloration
✔ Optimal Fiber Crimp - 12-15 crimps/inch for better cohesion
✔ Low Defect Rate - <5mg/100g impurities

Virgin Polyester Staple Fiber is a fundamental raw material for a vast range of products:
Spun Yarn for Clothing: Blended with cotton, wool, or rayon to make fabrics for shirts, dresses, suits, and jackets. The polyester adds strength and wrinkle resistance.
Home Textiles: Used in bedding (sheets, comforters), curtains, upholstery, and carpets.
Non-Woven Fabrics: A major application. Used in:
Hygiene Products: Diapers, sanitary napkins, and dry/wet wipes.
Geotextiles: For soil stabilization and drainage in construction.
Automotive: Car interiors, trunk liners, and insulation.
Filtration: For air and liquid filters.
Stuffing & Fillings: For pillows, couch cushions, sleeping bags, and stuffed toys (often referred to as "hollow fiber" filling).
Technical Textiles: For industrial uses like coated fabrics, ropes, and belts.
