Product Introduction

3D × 51mm High Shrinkage Acrylic Staple Fiber is a modified acrylic fiber manufactured through a specialized process that provides significant thermal shrinkage properties. When exposed to heat, this fiber undergoes controlled shrinkage, imparting unique bulkiness, fullness, and a plush texture to fabrics.

Denier: 3.0 D — medium thickness, soft hand feel, suitable for blending with other fibers
Length: 51 mm — medium-cut length, suitable for cotton, semi-worsted, and wool spinning systems
Function: High shrinkage — boiling water shrinkage rate of 20%–35%, enabling structural changes in fabrics through heat treatment
Form: Staple fiber — easy to blend with regular acrylic, wool, viscose, and other fibers
