       Product Description
This Recycled Polyester Filament Yarn is a Partially Oriented Yarn (POY) with a linear density of 50 denier and 24 filaments per cross-section. It features a Semi-Dull luster, providing a natural, subdued appearance with reduced light reflection. The yarn has a Round Cross Section, offering a smooth surface and uniform texture. As a POY grade, this yarn is partially stretched during manufacturing and requires further processing (drawing and texturing) to achieve its final properties. Made from recycled materials (typically post-consumer PET bottles or pre-consumer polyester waste), this product supports sustainability initiatives and circular economy principles. The fine denier (50D) makes it suitable for lightweight fabric applications.

Key Processing Requirement – POY Characteristics
POY is an intermediate product that must be further processed – typically on a draw texturing machine – to produce DTY (Draw Textured Yarn) or draw-wound to produce FDY-type properties. It is not used directly in fabric form without additional processing.

 Applications 

1. Feedstock for DTY Production
   This 50D/24F POY is primarily used as a precursor for manufacturing textured yarns (DTY) with enhanced bulk, softness, and stretch properties for fine-gauge knitted and woven fabrics.

2. Lightweight Apparel Fabrics (after texturing/drawing)
   After conversion to DTY or FDY, the final yarn is suitable for producing lightweight summer blouses, shirts, dresses, lingerie, and lining fabrics where soft hand feel and drapability are essential.

3. High-Density Woven Fabrics
   When fully drawn, the fine 50D filament can be used in high-density woven fabrics for down-proof linings, umbrellas, raincoats, and lightweight outdoor gear.

4. Sewing Threads & Embroidery (after drawing)
   The fully drawn version of this yarn can be used in fine sewing threads and embroidery applications for delicate fabrics.

5. Blending with Other Fibers (after processing):
   The final drawn yarn can be blended or intermingled with elastane (spandex) to produce stretch fabrics for sportswear and activewear.

6. Eco-Friendly Textile Production
   As a recycled product, it supports brands and manufacturers seeking GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certification or other sustainability credentials for end-use products such as eco-fashion, recycled sportswear, and green home textiles.
